Release notes for Merlyn Mind Software Update (released July/August 2022)

The July and August software updates for Merlyn Mind include new Microsoft integrations and simplified Pairing.

New Features

New Microsoft Integrations:
- PowerPoint Web Browser Integrations.
- Edge Browser Support.
- Microsoft Single Sign-On.
Simplified Pairing:
- Most computers will automatically pair to the Symphony Classroom device when connected via HDMI. These teachers will no longer need to manually enter a 4-digit pairing code.
Improvements for Shared Classrooms:
- Simplified experience for teachers who share classrooms with non-Merlyn Mind teachers and substitute teachers.
Teacher Portal Banner:
- Teachers will now see a red banner when logged into the Teacher Portal. This banner reminds teachers to keep this tab open to the Teacher Portal to remain paired with Merlyn. If the Teacher Portal is not open, voice and remote control will not work with your Merlyn Mind device.

Scrolling improvements for websites with multiple scrolling options. Teachers can now more easily scroll on websites that have multiple scrolling pages. Similar to scrolling on websites using a computer mouse, simply hover the Air Mouse over a specific section and use the D-Pad on the remote control to scroll. Previously teachers were unable to scroll on websites that had multiple scrolling locations.
Audio will continue to play when changing tabs.
Other stability improvements and bug fixes.
