Changing the Bluetooth Name of the Symphony Classroom Hub
  1. Go to SC settings > Bluetooth > Bluetooth Name
  2. Enter a name and select enter to complete
  3. Select "Easy Rename" to auto-name the device to "SC-XXXX"

Pairing the Bluetooth Device to the Symphony Classroom

  1. On the SC, go to the Settings page and select “Bluetooth”
  2. Select “Pair” menu, SC will begin scanning for devices bluetooth2.jpg
  3. Select the name of the Bluetooth device to pair, use “Page Down” button to scroll down 
  4. SC will begin pairing the Bluetooth Device
  5. Confirm pairing pop-up on the Bluetooth Device, then confirm pairing on the SC. A code will appear on both SC and Bluetooth device (if they match select pair)bluetooth3.jpg
  6. User is now paired to SC and can start playing audio
 

Unpairing the Bluetooth Device from the Symphony Classroom

  1. On the SC, go to the Settings page and click on “Bluetooth”
  2. Click on “Unpair” menu
  3. SC will ask user to select a device to unpair
  4. Select the Bluetooth device to unpair
  5. User has successfully unpaired the device
 

Switching Audio Playback to Play on the Symphony Classroom

  1. To hear the audio play out of the SC, go to Audio Settings on the Connected Device
  2. Select the named Symphony Classroom Device as Audio Output
  3. The audio will now play out of the SC speakers
 

Switching Between Bluetooth Devices and Other Devices Connected to the Symphony Classroom

  1. Symphony Classroom can remember multiple Bluetooth connections and will prioritize the most recently connected device for audio. If SC is prioritizing the wrong Bluetooth audio, unpair the incorrect Bluetooth device from the SC settings.
  2. When playing audio from your Bluetooth device, if you also play audio from another non-Bluetooth device connected to your SC, e.g., a laptop on HDMI, both audio streams will continue to play.
  3. If you only want to hear the audio from one of these devices, you will need to mute the source, i.e., the phone or the laptop.
