Please note:
You won't be able to utilize Merlyn without pairing, even if you share through a casting receiver. For instructions on setting up your device, please see Get Started with Merlyn and Symphony Classroom for Teachers.
How do I share my computer screen?
- First pair your computer with Symphony Classroom.
- Connect your Symphony Classroom to other devices by using the HDMI and USB-C ports found on the back of the unit. Select the HDMI port the device is plugged into when you switch displays, and cast your computer.
- Once you are ready to share, say, “Hey, Merlyn, show my computer”* or “Hey, Merlyn, switch display” and select the appropriate HDMI input.
- If you are using a wireless casting receiver, you will need to start casting from your laptop.
- Recommendation: On your laptop, go to the display settings and make the screen that you want to show to your students the Primary display. This will allow the Air Mouse to work on this screen.
