To Troubleshoot:
Check the batteries
- Please check if the safety tab that separates the remote batteries from the electrical contacts has been removed.
- If you have previously paired your remote but it seems to be currently not working, then try replacing the existing remote batteries with a new set of AA batteries.
- If none of the above works, please try re-pairing your remote with the Symphony Classroom. You can say “Hey Merlyn, pair my remote” and follow the on-screen instructions.
Clear previous pairings by:
- Press and hold the bottom 2 buttons of the remote control. Switch Input and Mute Mic. You will see a red flash.
- Try to pair again
Access Android Settings
- If it still doesn't work
- Connect a mouse to the usb port of the device then access the Android Settings by pressing the volume key on the SC device. You'll see a grey box on the side of the device.
- Click on the settings cog wheel
- You'll see the Android sound settings
- Click the arrow on the upper left and go back one
- You'll see wifi & bluetooth settings
- Click on that
- Pair the remote via this screen
Clear Bluetooth Settings
Follow steps 1 -6 in the Android Settings above
You'll see reset options. Select reset bluetooth.
