I have connected the Symphony Classroom to a display, but I notice flickering of the video output

Check your cable set up:

Please note, you'll need a 4K 60hz HDMI cable and if you're using a dongle to port in, it must be powered.

 

Otherwise this is a resolution issue: 

  1. Make sure your display's refresh rate is set to 60hz. Your operating system will have an option for this in the Display settings. 
  2. Verify that all the HDMI connections (input and output) from the Symphony Classroom fit snugly
  3. If your display’s resolution is 4K, then verify that the HDMI cables being used are compliant for 4K A/V transmission.  
  4. Reboot the Symphony Classroom and see if you still see a flickering of the display.
